Sentinel North International PhD School Field Report

The first Sentinel North International Ph.D School is currently underway in Nunavut's capital city of Iqaluit. For one full week, 19 students from 15 different universities and various backgrounds are teaming up with 11 northern students and 15 internationally renowned professors and local experts to demystify the complex issue of the changing Arctic cryosphere, in a transdisciplinary and highly technological learning environment.
Follow their adventure as they experiment hands-on with a multitude of disciplines and high-tech tools to harness new aspects of the rapidly-evolving arctic cryosphere, from a scientific and cultural point of view alike.
