An unprecedented transdisciplinary strategy

With its Sentinel North strategy, Université Laval fosters the convergence of expertise, transformative research, the development of new technologies and the training of a new generation of interdisciplinary researchers aimed at improving our understanding of the northern environment and its impact on humans and their health.

To shed light on the northern environment and its impact on humans by means of innovative new technologies and interdisciplinary research initiatives in support of sustainable health and development.

A dynamic research community

Sentinel North brings together an extensive network of researchers from more than 40 Université Laval departments who work closely with northern partners, public and private sector organizations, as well as other universities and research institutes in more than 20 countries.
