Advanced Field School in Computational Ecology: bringing Arctic biodiversity research to a new level
Published on 23 May 2023
With a unique hands-on, practical approach, the Advanced Field School in Computational Ecology proposes to leverage and experiment with cutting-edge technologies that can help bring Arctic biodiversity research to a new level.
More specifically, the School focuses on predator-prey dynamics at multiple scales under the overarching issue of environmental change, whose understanding requires the use of advanced methods for monitoring and modeling behavior and interactions in animal ecology: data capture/biologging, management and analysis of massive data, etc.
The School's program focuses on highly experiential training. A team of experienced mentors supervises students from various disciplines who will actively participate in the construction and interpretation of a custom data set.
