Presentation guidelines

You will find below the guidelines for oral presentations and posters for the Meeting. Speakers will also find useful tips to deliver their message efficiently to a transdisciplinary audience.

 


 

Presentation guidelines


Oral presentations

Please consult the document Advice for speakers. You will find useful tips to maximize the impact of your lecture in a transdisciplinary context.

All oral presentations will be required in PowerPoint or PDF (presentation mode) format for uploading during the event. You will have 15 minutes for your presentation, including time for questions from the audience. The sessions are 75 minutes long and may include up to 5 speakers per session.

 

Scientific posters

Posters must have a maximum size of 114 x 101 cm  / 45 x 40 inches (width x height). Posters will be presented during dedicated sessions on Monday, August 26, and Tuesday, August 27, and will remain on display throughout the meeting.

 

Poster competition

Registered participants to the poster competition must upload their poster in .pdf format before Wednesday, August 21 EOD, following this procedure:

  • Access your abstract submission account
  • On the "Submissions" tab, find your accepted poster submission. Note: Your submission will appear as "incomplete" until you upload your .pdf file
  • Click on your submission and scroll down to the bottom to "Poster Upload"
  • Click on Upload to upload your poster, then Save & Submit

Blitz

Blitz are 3 minutes long oral presentations, with visual support (PDF or PowerPoint). Please consult the document Advice for speakers. You will find useful tips to maximize the impact of your lecture in a transdisciplinary context.

 

PRESENTATION SCHEDULE

Your presentation details (session, date, time, order) will be provided to you as soon as the program is finalized, approximately in late July.

 

Language

The technical program will be presented in plenary sessions and we suggest that you present in English. However, if you wish to present in French, please advise the Secretariat (Sentinellenord@jpdl.com) as soon as possible for planning purposes.

 

PUBLICATION

Your abstract will be included in the conference proceeding. Sentinel North reserves the right to edit abstracts as deemed necessary.

 

REGISTRATION & HOTEL BOOKING

To confirm your participation in the conference program, your paid registration is required. To benefit from the early-bird rate, you must register before Friday, July 5th.
